Mr. T. R. Willis, of Greatford, is visiting the Bay of Islands for the sword fishing. Mr. Parsons, of Spain, is at present at Lake Taupo fishing. He will later tour the North Island.

Mr. D. H. Edwards, of Waipawa, has returned after a trip to Auckland. An interesting visitor to Dannevirke is the Rev. A. L. Millar, JI.A., of Canton, China. Joining the staff of the Presbyterian Mission to the Canton villages in 1915, he was later stationed at Ko T’ong, where he was in charge of a boys’ school, and also had the oversight of the local church. Dr. Putnam ad Mr. D. G. Moore, of Palmerston North, have gone to Taupo for the fishing. Messrs. F. Thompson, J. McDonald, and L. Speechley, Palmerston North, are visitors to Napier. Mr. F. W. Melhuish, assistant secretary to the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, has been granted leave of absence to enable him to visit England. He will bet away about five months. Mr. R. Yates, of Auckland, is a visitor to Napier. The Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young) will be in Palmerston North for the sixth annual Rotary Conference, which will commence in Palmerston North on February 29. NOTICE.
