SWIMMING
At half past five o’clock this evening, at Te Aro Baths, B. Gel late, the New Zealand junior swimming champion, and fresh water record holder tor 100 and 220 yards will endeavour to lower the 100 yards salt water record of Q'3 3-ssee., held by L. Olds. Olds is now in America, and is regarded as one ot tho fastest bov swimmers in the world, for his age. In a trial swim, Gallate was successful in covering 100 yards in 65 l-ssec„ being 1 2-ssec. better than the record.
