TRAGEDY IN SYDNEY

GIRL FOUND WTH THROAT CUT (Rec. Februarv 19, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, February 19. The bodv of a girl, Elaine Green, was discovered’ on a vacant piece of land at Marrickville, with the throat fatally cut. The girl’s parents have been hying apart. Last night the father visited the house in a most excited state, and after heated discussion with his wife, took the girl away. Later he returned and said that little Blaine fas now out of trouble. He produced a razor and a bottle of cltlorodyne and said he would also finish himself. He then disappeared. The police are still searching for him.
