RURAL INTERMEDIATE CREDITS BOARD
ADVANCES AGAINST WHEAT At the first meeting of the Rural Intermediate Credit Board at Wellington on Friday last, the present eco- I nomic conditions affecting grain crops in the Canterbury and other districts came up for consideration. The board decided that it would agree to consider applications for advances on the security of wheat in store and would also assist the formation of Co-operative Rural Intermediate Credit Associations by farmers desirous of joining together in this manner for the purpose of obtaining financial accommodation on securities of this nature.
