The ravages of ants are _ becoming somewhat serious in Taranaki, not only on many lawns, bit, also in the pastures (says the “News”). An experienced gardener said recently that should the drought continue much longer many lawns would require replanting. He was of opinion that farmers would find their pastures extensively affected.
