Shipping circles in Napier have been experiencing a remarkably busy time recently, notwithstanding the fact that considerable activity is usually to be looked for at this period of the year (says the “Telegraph”). In the roadstead the other day two ships were loading cargo, while at the breakwater three .were working, and another one was lying idle in the roadstead waiting for a.berth. The total tonnage of the boats in the roadstead and breakwater amounted to 30,510 tons.
