A rather peculiar circumstance was ventilated at the monthly meeting of the Taradale Town Board, when a ratepayer wrote to state that she had, in mistake, signed the petition circulating in Taradale, both for and. against the formation of a borough in taradale (savs the Napier “Telegraph ’). Uhe wrote to state that her sympathies were wholeheartedly with the borough project, and that she had signed the latter petition being under Hie impression that it was a further petition favouring the formation of the borough.
