CORONER’S VERDICT B? Telegraph.—Press association Christchurch, February 14. In giving his finding at the inquest on the two men wno were killed through the collapse of a wall at C. E. Utley's yards, Air. E. P. Alosley, S.M., said that he was satisfied that the firm was justified in entrusting the work to a skilled man such as Clark (one of the victims). The Coroner added a rider urging that additions or alterations to any building should be subject to inspection by officers of the Labour Department. In his opinion the safety of the workmen demanded such a course.
