TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST
« — Meteorological Office, Wellington, February 13, 4 p.m. Pressure is still high over New Zealand, an anti-cyclone having been centred to-day east of the Auckland Peninsula. A rather intense depression has been situated off the cential East Coast of Australia. Moderate northerly winds freshening soon.. Generally moderate seas, but rising over the Tasman and in New Zealand waters south of Cape Egmont and Castlepoint. Weather warm and sultry, with haze and cloudiness increasing, and rain later in many parts of the Dominion.
