ARREST AFTER A CHASE
Mastertoil, February 13. A j r oung tnan, a resident of Auckland, will appear in the Magistrate's Court at Masterton to-morrow morning charged with issuing a valueless cheque. It is alleged that the person concerned presented a cheque drawn on an Auck lad bank to a local boardinghousekeeper, and it was later found to be valueless. A constable located the alleged offender in the Masterton Park, and after a chase on a bicycle succeeded in effecting the arrest.
