Cooked ham is 2/2 and 2/6 lb.; prunes are 6d. lb.; salmon is 6d. and 1/8 tin; mild cheese is lid. and 1/- lb.; matured cheese is 1/- and 1/4 lb.; N.Z. Stilton cheese is 3/- lb.; condensed milk is 6d. and 1/- per tin; dates are Bd. packet, and 4d. Ib. loose. Sugar is 16/6 for a 701 b. bag; bulk honey and clover honey sell at lOd. lb.; rice, sago, barley and tapioca are all 3d. lb. Spanish muscatels are 1/6 per packet, and Californian mnscatels 1/10 per packet. Turkish figs are 1/- lb. Fruit.—Peaches are 6d. to 1/- lb.; greengages are 6d. to lOd. lb.; apricots are 4d. lb.; hothouse grapes are 1/6 to 2/- lb.; plums are 4d. to Bd. lb.; passion fruit are 2/- and 3/- doz.; watermelons are 6d. lb.; tomatoes are 4d. to 1/- lb.; oranges are 3/- and 4/- doz.; pineapples are 1/6 to 2/6 each; eating apples are Id. to Bd. lb.; dessert pears 4d. to Bd. lb.; lemons are 1/6 to 3/- doz.; grape fruit are 6d. and Bd. each.
