Winds light and variable at first, but freshening shortly from the north. Seas generally smooth to moderate, but rising later in New Zealand waters. Strong northerlies and rising seas in the Tasman Sea. Weather chiefly lair at first and warm, but clouds gradually increasing, and weather becoming unsettled. Rain probable with 24 to 48 hours.
