CYCLIST SERIOUSLY INJURED

Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, February 9. As the result of an accident yesterday afternoon R. Ambrose Wainwright lies in a serious condition' in the Wanganui Public Hospital. He was riding a cycle at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Guyton Street when he collided with a tramcar. His skull was fractured. Wainwright, who is employed at McGruer’s, lives at 6 Fife Street, Durie Hill, and is married with an adult family. On inquiry at the institution to-night it was ascertained the injured man is in a critical condition, and has not regained consciousness.
