A Press Association message from London reports that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Opawa lisa been sold for £20,000 to a Norwegian for conversion into a whaling factory. The Northumberland will leave Wellington on Monday for Napier to fill up for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. The Hertford left Gisborne at 10 o’clock last night for Na’fler to continue loading. From Bluff, via ports, the Calm Is au| here to-morrow, and will l<cve on Mon J day for Picton and Wanganui. The Gale, from Onekaka, js due here to-morrow, and will leave on Monday for southern ports. The Breeze, from southern ports, is due here on Wednesday, and will go on to Wanganui. The Totara will leave Westport to-day for New Plymouth. She will return to Westport, and then go to Tarakohe and Lyttelton. The Wingatui was to have left Portland yesterday afternoon with cement for W(d"ngton and Lyttelton. The Kurow was to have cleared Auek* land yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Opihi is to leave Dunedin to-day for Port Craig, and will sail thence for Dunedin and Wellington. The Kaimai is to leave Greymouth this afternoon for Wellington. The Kaituna. frohi Napier, is due here to-morrow, nad will leave on Monday for New Plymouth nnd Groymnufh. The Kahika is now to leave Wellington to-day for Napier and Gisborne. From the latter port she will proceed to Lyttelton and Bluff, thence sailing northwards for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The JoMi is now due here on Wednesday from .Lyttelton, and will go an to Wanganui and New Plymouth. The Titoki, from Tarakohe. is due here on Wednesday, and will leave later the same day for West port and Grcymouth.
