Presbyterian Social Life.—ln the life of tho Dunedin Presbytery there is a striking absence of sociability, according to the immediate past moderator, the Rev. D. Campbell, of West Taieri. and at yesterday meeting he urged that apportionate social gatherings should be held on special occasions. The Presbytery agreed with his suggestion. It was decided to refe- tho question of celebrating the anniversary of the arrival of the first Presbyterians to the Public Questions Committee that being considered a suitable occasion for such a social gathering as members had suggested.—Special Service..
