MARKETING PROBLEMS DISCUSSED

Professors A. IT. Tocker and H. Denham returned to Wellington yesterday by the Ulimaroa from a visit to Australia and Tasmania, where they attended the conference of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science at Hobart. Professor Tocker stated that the conference had been a marked success, and that delegates had spent an interesting and profitable time in discussion on various scientific problems. The .economic section had devoted its time largely to discussing marketing problems, particular attention being paid to pools and control systems. While in Aur.tralia he took the opportunity of putting forward his views on compulsory arbitration.
