CITY MILK SUPPLY
— .... 4 IMPROVEMENT AT RAHUI The relations between the City Council’s milk department and the suppliers to the Rahui factory at Otaki—the property of the’ council—are now stated to be on an entirely satisfactory footing. Some three or four years ago such was scarcely the case, as the dairy farmers of the district were not then thoroughly convinced that they were getting “a fair deal.” Such suspicions have been long removed. During the last few months extensive improvements and an enlargement have been made to the factory, and such is the spirit now prevailing among the suppliers that thev have invited the members of the City Council to visit Otaki to view the enlarged factory on Tuesday next, and be their guests for the day.
