SUFFRAGE CAMPAIGN
REUNION OF WOMEN WHO TOOK MILITANT PART
Rugby, February 5. On the even of the introduction into Parliament of proposals which are expected to give votes to all women at the age of 21, an interesting reunion took place yesterday of suffragettes who fought for the women’s vote some 15 years ago. Actually the anniversary was being celebrated of the first vote being given to “some” women ten years ago. Alost of the women who took a militant part in the suffrage campaign ' attended the reunion, and each table was presided over by a woman who had gone to prison for the cause. Notable figures present included Miss Sylvia Pankhurst, Airs. Pethick Lawrence, and Airs. 11. Alartvn. —British Official Wireless.
