ANNUAL PICNICS

DEPARTMENT- OF HEALTH. The annual picnic of the staff of the Department, of Health, held at Day s Buy, attracted a large assemblage, members of the stuff, together with, their families and friends, experiencing a thoroughly enjoyable outing. An energetic committee had arranged au entertaining sports programme. The Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young) was present during the afternoon, the guests including Dr. Ada Paterson, the Director-Gen-eral of Health (Dr. T. H. A. Yalintine). aud Mrs. Valintine, the deputy director (Dr. M. N.
