To-night in the Hunterville Anglican Church the Bishop of Wellington will conduct the annual confirmation service. A' large number of candidates are to be presented. Tiie Hunterville Flower Show was held on Tuesday, under the auspices of tiie Anglican Ladies Guild, and although the recent wintry weather had its effect on tiie quality of tiie blooms, the display was nevertheless an excellent one Much credit is due to the guild secretary, Mrs. G. A. AYatt, and the show secretary, Rev. C.' It. Kreeft, and their willing helpers. Mr. A. G. Simpson (chairman of the Rangitikei County Council) is at present o na business visit to WclHington.
