FOUND WITH THROAT CUT
INJURIES PROVE FATAH. . l)r>Ml\'l'>v SPECIAL Christchurch,' December 7. At 6 o’clock this morning John Churchill Day, 68 years of age, was found in the bathroom of the house where he ' resided, in Harris Street, Linwood, with his throat badly gashed. He had had a stroke four months ago, and had been in a very depressed condition ever since. He was practically a paralytic. When found he was still alive," and was taken to the Christchurch Hospital, where he died at 12.30. No trace was found of the weapon with which the act was committed.
