♦ UNREGISTERED VEHICLES USED Inglis Brothers and Co. Ltd., motor importers, were charged in the Magistrate’s Court vesterday on six counts of permitting the use of an unregistered car. Evidence was given by the police that there had been two cars in use, and these had been used to drive “Miss Canterbury” and “Miss Otago” around the town'at the time of the recent beaut v competition. “Oil, well.” said -Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.M., “they had their advertisement, so I suppose thev’re prepared to pay for it. Defendants will be convicted and ordered tc pay £1 on each charge.”
