PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION OPPOSITION. At a meeting of the East Vogcltown Progressive Association last night the following resolution was passed:—“That this association does not consider the proposed deviation of Hutcheson Road to be in the best interests of the district, and that unless it is altered in such a manner as to suit the interests of the district, steps will he taken to prevent the closing of the lower end of Hutcheson Road.” It was decided that the resolution be forwarded to the Wellington City Council and the Winter Show Association.
