DE VALERA AGAIN
MYSTERIOUS VISIT TO LONDON (Rec. December -1, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 1. The “Dailv Express” states that De Valera has just paid a mysterious two davs’ visit to London. He travelled under the assumed name of Mr. P. Little, but was shadowed by Scotland Yard men from the moment he landed till lie left for Glasgow. It is understood that while in London De Valera had conversation with Communists. Speaking in Glasgow last night he said “thev are out to establish a sovereign republic. It was only then that they would secure real independence.”
