WORKMAN INJURED
CAUGHT BY FALL OF EARTH. At the scene of. the. Public Works Department’s operations in Ngahauranga Gorge on Saturday forenoon one of the workmen. John Parr, a single man, livin' at 52 Boulcott Street, was caught by” a fall of earth, sustaining injuries to his head and back. He was admitted to the public hospital, where on inquiry last night it was reported that he was progressing satisfactorily.
