TAMAHINE'S EXCURSIONS

TO PELORUS SOUND. The week-end excursions which the Tamahine made last summer will be repeated this season, commencing next Saturday, when the vessel will., leave Wellington at 1.15 p.m., visiting Tory Channel, Picton, Queen Charlotte Sound, and Pelorus Sound, and striving back at Wellington shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday. The programme includes dancing and supper on deck at Picton on Saturday night, and boating, fishing, bathing, and picnicking next morning in® Tennyson Inlet, the most beautiful part of Pelorus Sound, with deck games in between whiles. This is an excellent way for making acquaintance with one of New Zealand’s chief beauty spots and of spying out the land for future holidays.
