COBHAM’S FLIGHT

Philadelphia, December 2. Sir Alan and Lady Cobham, who are flying in a Moth aeroplane to Washington, have arrived from New York. They experienced extreme cold and heavy winds throughout. Sir Alan Cobham said: “We were almost frozen. It was one of the coldest flights I have ever made.” Both gratefully accepted offers ot warmer flying clothing from naval aviators. They expect to proceed to Washington on Friday.
