ARBITRATION COURT

ANOTHER LABOUR PROTEST. Dominion Special. Christchurch, December 3. The Christchurch Plumbers and Gasfitters’ Union last night passed the following resolution: “Whereas the Trades Council have been keenly scrutinising decisions given by the Court of Arbitration of recent months, and have come to the conclusion that such decisions have always been in favour of the employing class and against . the weight of evidence, and we think it is high time that we had an alteration in the constitution of the Court of Arbitration. We .-therefore emphatically protest against the decisions of the Court, and we call upon the Government to remove Mr. Justice Frazer from the position of president of this Court.’ A copy of the resolution has been forwarded to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Labour.
