At the first meeting of creditors in the estate of Herbert Harold McNeliy, garage proprietor", of Upper Hutt, which was held in Wellington cn Thursday the Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley) referred to the fact that the bankrupt had only been in business for four months. ... Mr. McNeliy explained to a Dominion reporter yesterday that the Official Assignee’s remark was prompted by the fact that his account with the National Bank had only run for four months. As a matter of fact be had been in business as a garage proprietor at Upper Hutt for ten months.
