ARTILLERY QUEEN CONCERT

Miss G. Helen Gard’ner can always be relied upon to produce an excellent show, and her students’ dramatic recital tonight is expected to be exceptionally good, and is the first performance staged by Miss Gard’ner since her return from London. The programme consists Of five rVort plays by loading authors, and an excellent cast has been arranged for each play. Besides Miss Bessie Thornsou, of Dunedin, who is in Wellington specially for the performance, the comedy is in the capable hands of Zeluia Carroll. Edna Purdie. Margaret Watson, and Katie Semeloff. while the dramatic casts include Mary Cooley, May McDonald, Mavis Halliday, Wynio Chudley, Thyra Baldwin, am] Joe Elliot.
