NEWCASTLE HOSPITAL

PROTEST AGAINST MR. COYLE’S. APPOINTMENT. Sydney, December 2. A meeting of representative industrial bodies subscribing funds to the Newcastle Hospital discussed the appointment of Mr. J. Coyle, of Wellington, New Zealand, as secretary.. The meeting condemned the president for making the appointment, and asked him to resign. ' It also resolved to ask the Government to make an immediate inquiry into the affairs of the hospital, and decided also to ask that the appointment of Mr, Coyle be cancelled.
