DEATH OF PRINCESS THERESE
WIFE OF THE AGA KHAN. (Rec. December 2, 7.10 p.m.) Paris, December 1. Obituary.—Princess Therese, wife of the Aga Khan. (Rec. December 2, 9.5 p.m.) London, December 2. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Express” reports that Princess Thercse’s death was a great blow to the Aga Khan, who left her bright and cheerful and returned to the nursing home three hours later to be told she was dead from heart failure, following an operation. Princess Therese was bom in 1889, and was an Italian, formerly the Signorina Magliano. She embraced Islam before her marriage, and was a devoted wife and mother, and a clever sculptor, having exhibited at the Royal Academy. Her son is at present at school in Huntingdon.
