EDUCATION BOARD VACANCY

TWO NOMINATIONS RECEIVED

The extraordinary election for the vacancy on the Wellington Education Board,’ to be filled by a representative of the school committees, will take place on December 6. The Education Act provides that the votes—in this case of the school committees—are not to be counted until fifteen days after the date of tlie poll, in order to allow ample time for the voting [rapers to come in from the distant country committees. The result ol the election should be known on December 21. Two candidates have been nominated, Messrs. Charles Henry William Nicholls, and Joseph Isaac Goldsmith.
