ALLEN UPWARD’S WILL
POSSESSIONS LEFT TO ANOTHER AUTHOR. (Rec. December 1, 8.55 p.in.) London, December 1. Mr. Allen Upward, who was found shot in his rooms, in Wimborne, Dorset, left all he possessed to Mr. Stephen Graham, the author, according to the “Daily Express.” The amount is not stated. The will added a desire to be buried in unconsecrated ground, in perfect silence and forbade' anv memorial. Mr. Graham, in an interview, expressed the opinion that Upward committed suicide in order to draw attention to his work, “a desperate measure, which he mentioned to me some years ago, but to which I had no idea he would resort. [Mr Stephen Graham has written a number of books dealing with Russia, in which country he lived for norae time.]
