OTHER PARTIES MAY UNITE AGAINST LABOUR (Rec. December 1, 9.35 p.m.) Sydney, December 1. At the annual conference of the Nationalist Party Mr. Bavin informed delegates that lie had been in negotiation with the leader of the Country Party, and was confident that a completely satisfactory agreement for mutual co-operation and the elimination of duplication and disunity in the selection of candidates for particular seats would be arrived at, thus presenting a united front to the Labour Party "at the elections.
