FREE WHARF LABOUR AT NAPIER » By telegraph’.—Press association Napier, December 1. The mutton killed by free labour is being loaded on to the Port Hobart by more free labour. All is quiet, and no trouble is feared.

Thompson and Major McDonnell, delegates to the Farmers’ Union for the Takapau district, have sent forward lists giving the names of the farmers in their respective districts who are willing to go to work in one or other of the freezing works in Hawke’s. Bay. The lists, it is stated' show that farmers of the right stamp are offering, and in manv instances’ thev are willing to continue at work until'the trouble is over. Ihe names are beitic r sent forward to the central secretary -t Napier, am. the farmers will be advised when their scr vices will be required.
