TO PAY ss? I# THE £1 ’ Mr. S. Tansley (Official Assignee) presided yesterday over a further meeting called to consider the affairs of Ralph Philp, butcher, of Wellington. The largest creditor, the Nelson Freezing Company, was represented by Mr. Meek, ana Mr.'G. G. Watson appeared on behalf of bankrupt. ■ , Mr. Tansley stated that Philp was prepared to offer 3b. in the £l. but after some discussion it was resolved by the meeting that bankrupt be allowed to keep his furniture, and that his discharge be facilitated, if he guaranteed to pay ss. in the £l.
