RAILWAY TIMETABLE

REINSTATEMENT OF THE DAYLIGHT LIMITED. A number of additions and adjustments to tho railway timetable are announcad by the Railway Department. Principal among the additions is the reinstatement of the "Daylight” Limited express trains. Of particular interest to Southern Hawke’s Bay residents is the announcement of the institution of a late afternoon train to run daily from Dannovirko to Palmerston' North. As the new train will havo accommodation for passengers, travellers from the Wairarapa will thus link up at Woodville with trains for Palmerston North and Dannevirke. Similarly passengers from Southern Hawke’s Bay for Northern Wairarapa will be provided with a connection Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Although the adjustments are mostly of a minor degree; they effect a large number of suburban and other trains throughout the Manawatu and Hawke’s Bay districts. Tn many cases trams uro now timed earlier than formerly. In this connection tho "up" Napier express will now leave Thorndon two minutes earlier than hitherto. Full details of the altered timings will bo found in to-day’s advertising page. .
