CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
A meeting of the council of the Wei- i lington Chamber of Commerce was held last evening, the president, Mr. J. B. Simpson, in the chair. The election as members of the chamber of the following was notified:— , Messrs W. L. Olabburn. W. J. Hobson, A. V Markman, W. Mill, C. W. Palmer, D F. Reid, and li- P- Staples. Mr D. P. McGowan was congratulated on bis election as vice-president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce. Mr. A. L. Hunt was appointed as the chamber’s representative on sbe District Bailway Advisory Board.
