DEMAND FOR 44-HOURS WEEK
STRIKE IN VICTORIA. (Rec. November 29, 10.45 p.m.) Melbourne, November 29. Eight hundred employees of the State Electricity Commission at Yallourn struck, demanding a 44 hours week. They state that they will not return to work until their demands are conceded.
