VESUVIUS ACTIVE
MOST PICTURESQUE ERUPTION (Rec. November 29, 5.5 p.m.) Rome, November 28. Vesuvius is still providing the most picturesque eruptions of recent times. Tourists are rushing to Naples. Experts adhere to the opinion that there is very small danger of the lava overflowing the great crater, though they admit that the eruptions arc extremely violent.
