CAR FALLS INTO HARBOUR
DRIVER SWIMS ASHORE. . Dominion Special. Auckland. November 20. A motor-car and its owner and driver, Mr. W. S. H. Ringer, of Hamilton, fell into the Auck land Harbour sl.'prtly before midnight. The accident occurred after Mr. Ringer had driven a friend to the steamer Herekino. As the car was being turned it backed down a steep incline used for hauling up dinghies on to the wharf. Car and driver were precipitated into the water. Mr. Ringer bed to b-eak a side curtain to g<t out, and then swam ashore. The car was recovered undamaged.
