V. Howe (2) beat Miss Jenkins and Fisher (12), 40-3&- , „ , .. Ladies’ Singles.—Miss North (owe 6) beat Mrs. Brown (6), 40—36; Miss Castle (16) beat Miss Tracy (owe 10). 40—33. Indies’ Doubles.—Miss Wilson and Mrs. Williams (18) beat Misses Fouhy and Kennedy (18), 40—37. ■ ■ The Wellington Lawn Tennis Assotion has officially adopted Ayres “Championship” Tennis Balls this season, and they will be used solely at the Wellington provincial championship meeting in January.
