DYNASTIC CRISIS

The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says that when Queen Marie arrives from America on Tuesday she will interview Prince Carol. She will then proceed to Bucharest, where King Ferdinand is on the eve ot a serious operation. The King is already weak from haemorrhage. There are possibilities of a grave dynastic crisis. Queen Marie may be appointed Regent till the crisis passes. Meanwhile detectives continuously guard Prince Carol’s Paris home. EFFORTS TO PREVENT QUEEN AND CAROL MEETING (Rec. November 28, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, November 2f. The Telegraph Agency repeats that King Ferdinand is sinking. He is reduced to a skeleton. The agency adds that the Rumanian authorities are striving to prevent Queen Marie _ and Prince Carol from meeting at Paris by whisking the Queen direct to Bucharest from the ship. Meanwhile the operation on the King is being delayed pending the Queen’s arrival. THE KING SOMEWHAT BETTER (Rec. November 29, 0.30 a.m.) Bucharest, November 28. It is officially announced that King Ferdinand is somewhat better. He spent some time working with the Premier. ROYAL BETROTHAL CROWN PRINCE OF ITALY AND PRINCESS ILEANA (Rec. November 28, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, November 27. “Le Journal’s” Rome correspondent says that Crown Prince Humbert has been betrothed to Princess Ilcana, of Rumania.
