NEW TRAM-CARS FOR CHRISTCHURCH

Christchurch, November 27
Early next year pay-as-you-enter trams will be run by the Christchurch Tramway Board. The necessary "safety appliances are being imported, and should arrive here before the end of the year. The car bodies are being altered at the sheds, and a good deal of the preliminary work ha’s been done. The cars should be in commission early in January.
