Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., Masterton, report having yarded a small entry of sheep and cattle at the Martinborough sale. Competition was on • par with recent sales, with prices as follow; Ewe hoggets 225. 9d., yearling dairy heifers £2 to £2 65., 2-year dairy heifers, £2 12s. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., Masterton, in conjunction with.the Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. /Xssociation Ltd. (Stock Department) report having offered on account of Mr. H. T. Hume his annual draft of 2-year-old P.A. bulls, lhe bulls came forward in good condition and were also better grown than last season. There was not a large attendance at the sale, quite a number of farmers having filled their reuirments at earlier sales and by private puicbases. However, a considerable number of the bulls were disposed of at prices ranging from 10 to 20 guineas to local buyers and to orders from le Kiiiti, Waifcanae and Mangaroa. Messrs.
