BABY LEFT ON STEPS
CHARGES AGAINST YOUNG WOMAN. Dominion Special. Christchurch, November 25. A young married woman who was arrested in Blenheim early in the week on a charge of unlawfully abandoning a baby, which was left on tho steps of the Salvation Army Alaternity Home, Christchurch, on the night of November 16, appeared before Mr. 11. A. Young, S.M., in the Magistrate’s • Court this morning. A remand till to-morrow was granted, and the Magistrate agreed to suppress accused’s name from publication until the facts were made known.
