« AUCKLAND ' THEATRE PROPRIETORS SEEK PERMIT. Dominion Special. Auckland, November 25. A request for permission to open picture theatres on Christmas Day was made to the City Council to-night by a deputation from the Auckland Theatre Proprietors’ Association Members ol the deputation said that it was a serious matter for theatre proprietors. Business had not been good during the past twelve months.
