“Never heard of it. It has never been suggested,” was the comment of Mr. J. A. Robb, acting-Premier, when asked regarding the possibility of the appointment of a Canadian Commissioner to Berlin, as suggested in a Paris cable reading: “Mr. G. W. Stephens, of Montreal, chairman of the Commission governing the Saar Basin, under the League of Nations, will possibly be appointed first Canadian High' Commissioner in Berlin”
