OLD BOYS’ DAY
Old Boys of Wellington College are reminded ot the annual field day, with the present pupils, which will take place next Tuesday (St. Andrew’s Day) on the college grounds, commencing at 9.30 a. m. This event, which was inaugurated in 1913 by Mr. M. C. Barnett, is always a very enjoyable one, and the contests at cricket, tennis, -hooting, running, and swimming helji to maintain interest, not only in the school, but also in the Old Boys’ Association, Last year the attendance at luncheon numbered ISO, and 550 were present at afternoon tea. Old boys are requested to give this outing their whole-hearted support, and to invite their ladv friends to join them at afternoon tea.
